A comprehensive environmental monitoring system (EMS) is a need for any critical facilities and data centre setup as it provides the user a new time monitoring of all the critical equipments.
The EMS shall integrate with a SMS gateway to provide instant message to all the key personnel when there is any alert from the data centre.
Other than the above mentioned features, the EMS proposed in this proposal will also provide a real time monitoring system to all the power in term of voltage, ampere, frequency, power factor, KWH and environmental system on temperature, humidity, water leakage, smoke or heat detection.
All these information will be stored in the computer, where it can be retrieve out at later stage for analysis, audit purposes. Other than that, with the real time monitoring system, it can be used as a preventive tool for all the critical equipments.
